Philip E Fleming MD FACSAn Alabama native, Dr. Fleming graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University. Subsequently he received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He received general surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. His plastic surgery residency was completed at Vanderbilt University. He then received fellowship training in microsurgery and hand surgery at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dr. Fleming is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina. Dr. Fleming has donated his surgical skill in the activities of the Tennessee/Kentucky Chapter of Operation Smile (Op Smile). This organization provides free surgical care to individuals with deformities who do not have the financial ability to pay for corrective surgery.
